1. Interest. Tell us where to build next.

Interest
The interest stage allows PSC to identify who is interested in the construction of a fiber broadband connection to their residence or business. Submitting this form does not imply any binding commitment by either party or require any purchase. Please complete the simple on-line form to express your interest.

Pre-Subscribe
As main line fiber deployment enters your area or “fiberhood”, your service address will move into the Pre-subscribe stage. After typing in your address, you will be directed to an on-line form. Here you will indicate what PSC services (Internet and/or Telephone) you wish to subscribe to. Service pricing information is included on the form.

Complete Paperwork
As engineers will be finalizing the design, planning and scheduling of the fiber deployment into your area, PSC will need to understand who will be subscribing for service. At this time PSC will initiate a credit check, notify you of the deposit amount required, and request completion of a “drop permit”.

Construction
The first step in the construction phase is locating utilities. Once utilities have been located, main-line fiber construction will begin. This may include boring, plowing and/ or trenching in the right of way on the roadside. Fiber drop installation will soon follow (not to be confused with installation which will come later). The “drop” is the cable used to connect the mainline fiber cable at the road to a network interface device which will be placed inside your residence or business during final installation. The completion of the construction phase entails splicing the cable that has been plowed from the road to your house to our main cable.

Schedule Install
Once mainline and drop construction is complete, PSC will call to schedule a date and time that works best for you to turn up service. Someone must be present for the installation as entry to the house is required.
